Here are some highlights from a talk given by AMCU President Joseph Mathunjwa at the 2019 International Mine Health and Safety Conference.

President Mathunjwa’s speech focused on the needed improvements in worker health and safety. He also covered many of the environmental impacts the mining and metallurgy industries have on the local communities they serve.
