IOL reported that the South African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu), the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) and the Assembly of the Unemployed (AoU), issued a statement on 16 August that called for justice and jobs for those affected by the Marikana massacre, in a bid to right the wrongs committed 11 years ago.
